Each person selects one number. That is their number for the entire game, excluding end of periods (except if period ends with a goal, then ZERO counts).
If their number is the number showing as the last second on the main time when the whistle blows and the clock stops.
The person with that number receives $1 from each player.
If there is a penalty on the board, the person with the number on the penalty clock, gives $1 to each player.
If multiple penalties are in place, all the numbers on the penalty clock are paid out as above.
You need to be present , in the row, between when the whistle blows, and before the new play starts, to collect. If you are anywhere else, you lose
You do not need to be at your seat or row to win.
If there is a time reset, by the officials, due to an error in time keeping, before the next play starts, the final time will be used for payout. Not the time the clock stopped for the whistle.
The clock does not come into play, if the play has not started, but a whistle blows (change face-off players, etc.), unless it’s #5 above.
If the clock stops, due to a goal, the payouts are doubled. If the goal is by the opposing team, the person with the number pays the other players.
If the clock stops, due to a short-handed goal, the payouts are progressively doubled.
If the clock stops during the last 2 (2:00 or less) minutes of the 3rd period, and overtime, the payouts are progressively doubled, yet again.
SHOTS OPTION: At the end of the period and OT. If your number is in the Ones, of the shots played, you win a dollar (two dollars if both team shots match the number)
JACKPOT OPTION: If clock stops on a minute of a players number, in the last half of periods 1-3 (10:00, 9:00 .. 1:00), all players that opted in will pay $5 to the jackpot winner. Above dollar game rules will not apply.
Side bets are allowed, and encouraged throughout the game.
